I'm still working on a guardian ad litem quilt. Maybe a little behind due to life but it will get done.

Work In Progress

Well I just thought I would Check in and tell you a little about what I am working on right now.

I am working on another Guardian Ad Litem quilt. My brother in law and sister in law have 3 children who are in foster care right now with them.

This is for Tabitha.

I am trying something new with ric rac. I think I like it.

YOU CAN'T JUST STAND THERE!

    As I read my Bible study today I thought, hhhmmmm this was me just last year. This morning the author said "You can't stay where you are. There is one place God will never let you stay and that is right where you are." 
    For every Christian after God changes your life (and if you are truly born again then you are definitely not the same you) there is no more just filling the church pew any more. GOD IS MOVING YOU! He has a plan for everyone out there. I just really latched onto that last year and slowly ever so slowly His plan for my life has come into view. I have a purpose and that is Kingdom Work. :-) God has work for All of his redeemed! That is so exciting to me!!!
    One of the ways I am "working" is trying to be the best me I can possibly be and that requires me taking self out of the picture. You might be scratching your head right now and saying huh, well let me explain. I will be starting a personal study this week called Live Second: 365 ways to make Jesus first. The book is by Doug Bender, he has started this whole movement. They have a website if you want to check it out. I will be doing my best to live second or maybe even third or fourth. In other words putting Jesus first and then others before myself. Here is the info, I am second I hope you have time to check it out.
